Winter Cup Winners: LASHINGS ALL-STARS

Congratulations to LASHINGS ALL-STARS for retaining the Winter KO Cup last night, defeating Civil Service A 5-2 in the final at the Century Club.

Division 2

The final league game in Division 2 was played last night, with Eagle A beating Lashings D 7-2 on the night.

Lashings D finished level on points with Hare & Hounds A, but have won more games, to claim 3rd spot.

Doubles Knockout

Troy / Bertie (Civil Service A) beat Stuart / Paul (Lashings A) 3-2 in the 2nd semi-final at the Bower Inn, last Thursday night.

The Final: Darren / Steve (Lashings B ) v Troy / Bertie (Civil Service A) will be played at THE FOX on Tuesday 7th May. Best of 7 frames.

Presentation Night / Summer AGM

The Winter 2018/19 Presentation Night will be held at Lashings on Monday 13th May 2019, from 8pm onwards. It's usually a good social night with a comedian etc, and is open to everyone in the League. Come along!

The Summer AGM will be the following night, Tues 14th May, at the Duke of Marlborough, from 8pm. This is the time to register your team for the Summer 2019 season, and for any points/suggestions to be raised, and changes to be voted on, for next winter.

Bertie will be dropping registration forms around to venues shortly, but you can get ahead of the game by downloading and printing the form from the 'Files' section in the Facebook group.

The Summer 2019 season is due to start on Monday 3rd June 2019.

WINTER CUP FINAL:

Civil Service A v Lashings All-Stars will be played next Monday 29th April 2019, at the CENTURY CLUB.

Rearranged Matches

A couple of Division 1 games were played last night.

Lashings A beat Lashings B 5-4, which means 2nd place is still not decided. Lashings B need 8 points from their unplayed Dog & Gun game, 7 wouldn't be enough as the All-Stars have more wins. Dog & Gun could still avoid relegation if they beat Lashings B 7-2.

In the other game, Civil Service B beat Bower Inn 7-2, guaranteeing their place in Division 1 next winter, and sending Century Club down (booo! 😉)

Knockouts Update

SINGLES: Troy (Civil Service A) beat Gee (Lashings B ) in the 1st semi. Steve Spear (Lashings All-Stars) v Spud (Civil Service A) is to be rearranged.

DOUBLES: Darren / Steve (Lashings B ) beat Lee / James (Bower Inn) in the 1st semi. Paul / Stuart (Lashings A) will play Troy / Bertie (Civil Service A) next Thursday at the Bower Inn.

VETERANS: was played last night at Lashings. Chris (Civil Service A) won. Tony (Lashings All-Stars) was runner-up.

LADIES: will be played on Tuesday 7th May at Civil Service Club.
